germans have a long history on nowadays romanian territory, in some regions being attested even before the vlachs (medieval romanians), as early as the 12th century! there were more than 1.5 million germans in romania in the eve of world war 2. now there are little more than 60 000 left. bucovina was part of the austrian empire between 1774 and 1918. i have some very interesting data from the 1900 austrian census but i will put them in another thread sometime. here is the facial composite for 12 unrelated german ethnic romanians of south bucovina (it looks so similar to the 24-guys ukrainian composite!) and the faces used for.

Good job. The morph looks mostly Norid + Cromagno-Alpinoid.

there are some similarities with this hutsul morph but the hutsul one is more broad-headed and overall more CM-Alpine influenced than the bucovina-german one

The German sample is definitely more Dinarid (Norid).

would the german morph pass as german? i guess only half at most of the faces used in this thread could pass as german/austrian. the hutsul morph on the other hand looks perfectly czechoslovak :) the hutsul territory comes in the continuation to the czechoslovak lands prior to WW2

would the german morph pass as german?

Sure, but rather Southern German-Austrian-Eastern German.

In Northern and Western Germany such faces are/were rare.

most of the german colonists came indeed from today's austria and the czech republic, only a small part from bavaria and saxony

You have an agenda, must be because you hate your moldovan mother or father, or whatever that 1/2 means.

Google Map Sviatoslav, Google Map Oleg iz Novgorod, google Map Rurik, look there in the Western Charpatians or Transilvania, what you see there ?

well you have an agenda or you are just brainwashed by the history classes you took in highschool, because germans WERE attested in north moldova, bucovina and maramures BEFORE vlachs / romanians... i am proud of my moldovan side or else i wouldn't have showed it... i am sick of romanian silly nationalism anyway... look at ethnic maps from the past, you will see that romania is younger than my grandma in a lot of its territory... not that you would understand what's the point... after all romanians are on average dumber than most europeans, right? see the average iq for romania

Moldova is to Romania what Macedonia is to Bulgaria - a part of the mother country that got excluded for political reasons, whose population is brainwashed. ;)
