Yeah I agree, probably the reaction you would get in some places in Dublin and it makes a very good point. I don't think there are too many places you could go where nobody would understand any of what he was saying though, some very basic sentences in there. The Chinese guys accent and pronunciation is very good too, he must have been brought up in Ireland.
