Not really. If he dyed his hair brown or blond he might look more Scandinavian. He looks somewhat similar to the Swede Per Gessle though:

I wouldn't have thought so. I think Gabriel looks very Irish. I then saw this Swede on The Last Kingdom and he doesn't look like the stereotypical Swede and he was playing a Viking but he is a genuine Swede. :)

His casting was somewhat egregious although considering the diversity clusterfuck it could have been I suppose it is nitpicking.

Both Vikings and The Last Kingdom were well cast overall.
