It is just funny to think she looks how she does but she is genetically close to these people when she could not look less like them.

There is nothing even remotely West Asian in her look. She looks full blown Irish or Scandinavian.

There are actualy full Calabrians who are blond and look like her even though its not typical for the region

She is 74% Southern Italian. As for looks IDK,, maybe she inherited the 26% Irish side for all her looks,, statically you know as well as I do that is very unlikely.

Brazilian Italians seem to do this for some reason,, not sure why they think they are so special or something.

Most of my friends are Italian-American and a lot of them have blonde hair or dirty blonde hair. Most of them are Sicilian and tend to have darker features, but there are also several blondes. They have an even lighter blonde color than northern europeans. I don't think they're Sicilian though, maybe something a little more north/central in Italy.

she's 1/4 each calabrese marche abruzzese irish

marche are north-central italians and irish are extreme nw euros

and the marche and irish are from different parents, so light traits from both sides could express in her

I think it's just the blonde hair, I don't think it is impossible for Southern Italians to have her facial features.

Calabrians and Sicilians are as Italians as any other Italian people from any other Italian region. They are not different from other Italians. And as I've said a thousand times your Italian-American friends are not representative of all Southern Italians. Of course Southern Italians are not Swedes, and the majority of us have brown hair. However, I can assure you that the majority of us also has light/pale skin and light/fully European features. You can also find a lot of blondes and redheads, as I've already said.

One quarter of Northern European ancestry can affect a person's phenotype in some cases. Reminds me of the Serbian swimmer, Nađa Higl. Only one paternal grandfather of her was a German, the rest were all Serbs, yet she looks nothing like the vast majority of girls over here.

To spread false stereotypes/propaganda... and because they have no life or something else to do. These users never set foot in Italy so are hardly believable.

Odds work against this theory but anything is possible. It is not unheard of to see red and blond haired southern Italians here in the USA. Even if it is not common it does happen.
