I saw this guy on the news today and was surprised by his Greek name. I googled him and he is in fact Greek from Thessaloniki.

His features aren't atypical, but he is definitely on the darker side.

He could potentially have Pontic Greek ancestry, if from Thessaloniki, and his last name is common for Pontians as well. He doesn't fit the average phenotypical mold of most Northerners.
