"Raki is an unsweetened, often anise-flavoured, alcoholic drink that is popular in Turkey, Turkic countries, Albania, Greek Islands and in the Balkan countries as an apéritif." - Wikipedia
Is Raki a traditional or widely enjoyed drink in your country? if not; have you ever tasted it?
I heard it is called Rakija in some places.
Ouzo is known as 'Greek raki' in Turkey.
Personally I prefer beer and vodka because I'm not into the anise flavor. Turkish raki has anise. I hear they do Raki without anise in some other countries.
it's even called the same way here..it's popular but mostly in the villages..i can't say young people drink this

I don't know anybody under the age of 40 that drinks it in Albania.

Mixing of various alcoholic drink is very bad.
Alcohol intoxication with Vine and of mixed drinks are the worst from my experience.
After one drunkenness with Vine few years ago I don't drink Vine anymore at all, not even in small quantities.
When you are drunk of Vine you have a feeling that you are sorry because you are born... When you wake up after Vine drunknness the head hurts all day.

The traditional spirit of Sardinia (unflavoured) is known in Sardinian as "Abba Ardente" (burning water) or "Filu 'e Ferru" (iron wire), because the bottles were buried in the garden with iron wires tied around the necks that protruded from the ground. This was made to hide them from the Italian authorities, since the distillation was forbidden until few decades ago.
A flavoured version is also made with anise, and it's known in Sardinian as "Ànis", it's very similar to the Greek "Ouzo". Another strong super-alcoholic made in Sardinia is made with myrtle fruits or leaves, so it could be red (made from fruits) or white (made from leaves), and it's known in Sardinian as "Murta" (myrtle), and in Italian as "Mirto" (myrtle).
These super-alcoholics are usually extra strong (you could fuel a missile with them) http://www.theapricity.com/forum/images/smilies/laugh.gif
Abba Ardente / Filu 'e Ferru : over 40-48% alcohol
Ànis : 40-45%
Murta : 28-34%

In my coutry we dont produce raki but Sliwowitz (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slivovitz#Czech_Republic)(Slivovice, Slivovica, plum brandy).
I am from eastern Moravia, where almost everybody has plum trees at his own orchard to have source for slivovica.
One is fermentated in the barrels at home and later moved it to local distillery where you will pay to make it for you (plus taxes for government).
