Can I refer to any source where they say he is half Albanian? Unfortunately in his bio they just say he is Serbian.

Anyone sees a little of Armenoid also?

Well, he looks like a Jew, but dont know if thats just recombination of elements or really some influence.
About his Albanian side, it is something that officially is not really mentioned, but it's common to read it on Serbian forums, and also to hear among people. I don't know if he ever talked about it. Anyway, name of his mother is clearly not Serbian.

Svilanović's father Tihomir holds a doctoral degree in agricultural science while mother Stavrula is an accountant. He spent his childhood in Kosovo before prior to his family moving to Belgrade when he was seven.

He is from Kosovo.
By the way, I don't judge about origin of his mother. There are lot of mixed marriages everywhere in Balkan and it is quite normal thing.

So being from kosovo necessarily means being Albanian? https://static.flashback.org/img/smilies2/whoco5.gif

I have never heard any Albanian with the name "Stavrula"

No Ush, it doesn't mean of course. And he is even ashamed to say he is from Kosovo, because he plays big Europan now. It's what people talk here about his origin, i can't say it's true. I also never heard about Serb with that name and it sound totally foreign... and it's apparently very Greek name actually:confused:

Pontid with Dinarid influences I'd say, maybe some CM too? His jaw isn't Pontid or Dinaridish. Like with a lot of Serbs from Serbia the tendency towards dolicochephalacy is there.

Yes,yes I know. All I'm saying is that Stavroula is a Greek name and it's meaning has a specific religious connotation.
We also have 100% Greeks called Albertos,Nathanael,Abraham etc being Christians as well (I mean not Jews).:thumb001:
