She's from Kalamata, Peloponnese, afaik, but I don't know ancestry/heritage. Does it make sense?

Edit: Can she be considered a typical Greek beauty?

She couldn't pass as Albanian. Is this phenotype common in Greece? Or at least I have never seen any females with a phenotype like this.

She's not much above average if you ask me.

I guess she can't pass in my region too or at least she would be one in a million. Her vibe screams Balkans.

Pontid.

Pontid. If this is your idea of Southern European, then yes, she's Balkan. Maybe even Scandinavian.

He's not my idea of the stereotypical S.European, he just doesn't look North African.

If this is a North African look then the North Africans i see in Italy are from another place:

If Sampras doesn't look that exotic being 1/4 Jew or not ,i guess we then agree

Yes sort of a mixed Balkanic (slight Slavic) Alpine and/or Atlanto Med look. Sort of in between Med (Atlanto, Dinarid, Alpine) and an East Euro (like Baltid, Pontid, even Gorid) look. I have relatives who look straight up Slavic (very Gorid looking) and others who lean towards Berid Meds and were mountain (inland) Messinians.

I have seen some Messinians looking very fair blonder than this woman i posted even with somehow Slavic like features

But i have seen also enough Messinians who didn't look like that at all but plain South Euro in some cases even similar to
(non light) types from Crete so i can't realy think of this woman in the OP being atypical since she is more or less just Pontid and can
even pass in some Balkan Slavic countries like Serbia(i would say)

You probably have a larger sample size to consider than I do since most of the Messinians I've been around are my own relatives and Messinians at Greek dances in the US. Also I"m basing it on the Messinians I"ve met in the inland mountain villages. I was just considering a baseline example would be like the photo you posted.

Ok

Its true there are Messinians and also other Peloponnesians who look Slavic in a proper sense
The Melingi settled at the Taygetos mountains on the Messinian side and they were absorbed by the local Greeks over the centuries
so yeah there you have Slavic admixture which can show up in phenotypes of local folks.
