I have seen them scoring Norway and Sweden specifically. Wouldn't it come up as German if it was Anglo-Saxon? And most Viking settlement was Danish. But there is no Danish category on AncestryDNA so I don't know if they'd score Norway or if they'd score Sweden instead.

Could be British Isles dna that was mistaken for Scandinavian. I know completely Scandy guys who get a large chunk of British for this reason.

Probably a bit of both. Large scale Scandinavian settlement of the US tended to occur later than when Africans were being brought over as slaves. I would guess that it is almost entirely from their British ancestry.

Eh, not necessarily people do tend to move around. You could have a majority South West English ancestry and still have a High Scandinavian input. It really comes down to the individual case.
