I have two raw files, one from 23andme with 638469 snps and one from FTDNA with 702540 snps,
I used a software called DNA kit studio to merge them and got a file with 1179584 snps,
If I'll upload the merged file to GEDmatch will I get more accurate results then the results from the original files ?

Good question, following the thread.

I think you won't be able to upload it to GEDmatch because it will exceed the limit, and probably there will be copied SNP's.

I uploaded it to GEDmatch genesis with no problems, there are no copied SNP's because the software takes only one copy if the SNP appears in both files,
the results aren't very different as expected, I think it's more useful for sites that gives you health reports like promethease.
