All of these, especially Angola and Benin supplied a lot of slaves to the New World.

Angola and Congo are significant for all with the exception of Jamaica.
Benin contributed significantly to the Hispanic Caribbean, Brazil, Louisiana, and Haiti.
Ghana and Nigeria to the Anglo-Caribbean.
Senegambia contributed most to the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, and parts of the US.

Beninese seem lighter than other West Africans, not sure why.

I disagree that Senegalese do as they were not a large contributor to the African diaspora overall, only really to the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and some parts of the US. Also, the main African input in Cape Verde, and the source of any residual SSA in Madeira or Azores.. as such, any African ancestry I have is from Senegal.
