Nah, but he is from another non-Latino South American country which basically one of the two other Guianan countries. You would be able to guess it now. ;)

If you had said that he would be Latin American, everyone (or almost everyone) will think that he is SSA influenced

So, I say: Brazil and Colombia (Maybe)

This man wouldn't stand out in a crowd of Brazilians. Might not be the typical black here, but would still pass.

Interesting. What would ppl think he is in Europe or in North Africa (you live in Algeria)?

In Europe, people would think he's from the overseas like French-Guyana and Antilles; while in North Africa he could passes as Arab-Bantu mix from the Algerian deep south or Sudanese if you count Sudan in NA, he doesn't have Semitic marks in the eyes region, so he is probably Euro-Bantu mixed race.

Can you explain on the "awkwardly" in Sahel/Sahara part?

Btw he is the current president of Suriname. His family were of multi-ethnic Amerindian, Afro-Surinamese, Dutch, French, and Chinese ancestry. So technically a triracial or quadriracial.

Where is he from?

I forget to mention that he is born in Domburg, Suriname. His family were of multi-ethnic Amerindian, Afro-Surinamese, Dutch, French, and Chinese ancestry.

So he is basically a non-Latin American "quadriracial".

Have you seen a Saharan man with Amerindian eyes before? don't misunderstand me, he could pass there but not perfectly.
So this is the Suriname's president, very multiracial country indeed.
