Both are at very similar levels. Australia's government doesn't collect any data referred to race, but rather ancestry (and one person can have multiple ancestries), so it's hard to make estimations.

However, according to what I've found on Wikipedia, Australia's population of European origin comprises 70% of the total population, while White/European Canadians make up 72.9% of the population.

I think they're both pretty equal, the only thing being that Canada has a larger population so the amount of Whites might be larger than Australia's.

Having been to both I'm going to say Australia. But that's actually very tough to say. Cities aren't the greatest representation of an entire country's population
