Usually, but Subnordid means the mix of Nordid with any reduced CM type of Western Europe and most of these aren't blond.

I think Alpine is the primary element. There is something else though, Nordic or Mediterranean I would guess.

Alpine race is brunette in hair colour and Nordids can be brown-haired, too - certainly many of the blends end up with brown hair.
