AA is both caucasoid and EE. I preferred to take it as EE. Actually same case with SCA. I know it's detailed description.

SC Asian and Ancestral Altaic are West Eurasian components. The Amerindian component is probably mixed as well and not fully EE. Melano_Polynesian is some sort of Negrito-related component (South Eurasian) rather than a Mongoloid-related one, so technically it can fall under the East Eurasian umbrella, but its not really 'East Eurasian proper'. I get over 6% AA and over 35% SC Asian, and these are way too high for me for it to be an East Eurasian component.

Well the reason why you got high SCA is already clear. SCA is good proxy for Turkic variety ancestry so i wanted to put it in this thread. Since you're Iranian, i should agree with your statements. I already added it as a different component than other Mongolic elements. Referance of AA both Caucasid and Mongolic, it is interesting how you can put certain claims about it. Same case with SCA, as i said.

And you get around 9% total on most other calculators.
Anyway, even Davidski himself said values below 1% should be disregarded as noise. Probably adding up all the minor values would not necessarily give you an accurate figure.

Wrong. If you insistly score same values in every calculator then they are probably not noise.

SC Asian is Steppe-related not Turkic-related. Some Indian groups get slightly more of it than I do. It peaks in the Kalash.
The ethnic groups you're posting with a large amount of AA are from the area where Caucasoids and Mongoloids are most mixed with one other. "Purer" East Asian groups get little to no AA whereas all West Eurasians (except those with little to no Steppe/Proto-IE ancestry) have some of it. When the AA is included as part of EE, I'm around 9% or so EE which is way higher than what I get on most other calcs.

If you don't score any other EE, it should be taken as proxy for your Slavic ancestry. They usually score very small amounts of kind of these components, Siberian and Amerindian etc.

I think SC asian is basically baloch/gedrosian. I dont think its steppe. I get zero steppe/euro on most calcs but i get 33.63% sc asian on this, which is similar to my baloch/gedrosian of 37%.

I haven't said SCA is Turkic-related. I said it is good proxy for Turkic(Central Asian in general) variety so i want to put it on this thread. Both SCA and AA steppe-related, but reference of AA both is Caucasid and Mongolic, as i stated hundred times. Turko-Mongol populations usually score it - some with high amounts - Even if i agree with you there are clues to trace it's caucasid origin at the end of the day it is still mixed and result is not very clear. I evaluate it as steppe-related with Mongolic touches, so it would be good to see it in this thread.

I don't know it's exact reference point. South Central Asia isn't really an "official" term like South Asia or Central Asia and usually refers to everything between Central Asia and Balochistan pretty much. Gedrosian/Baloch in admixture calculators like Eurogenes K36 (along with all the HGDP Pakistan populations) is labeled "South Central" Asian.
It's basically that part of South and Central Asia (http://www.state.gov/p/sca/ci/) which is between Central Asia (http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/102288/Central-Asia) and the Indian subcontinent (since this entire area is usually labeled South Asia (https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/wfbExt/region_sas.html), but there are two components in this region, so the one to the west (usually Balochistan) is termed South Central Asian as the Indian one gets "South Asian").
The reason why added it in this thread, most of Turks carry high amount of SCA so it is a good indicator, just like ancestral altaic.

North Russian yes but not very similar to you in this particular case. You have no arctic, she has no Tungus-Altaic and almost no Paleo-Siberian. Also no South-Central Asian which you have.
Well it's understandable as she has no eastern ancestry like I do. Which is why on plots I cluster more east with Erzyans.

If you don't score any East Eurasian in other calculators it is just a noise. But if you insistly score it in other calculators as well in your case it is most probably a heritage from Slavic Migration. Other option is less possible. I don't think scoring East Eurasian - despite it is less than 1% - is very typical for your country.

Do you mean there is the possibility of Slavic migration on my mothers side?
No. It is the fact that Crete took Slavic migration. But it shouldn't be high amounts so most probably there is no any east eurasian trace in your mother. With this sense i don't think your admixture came from your mother. Obviously your father have 0.90 east eurasian and you have 0.83.

There are different components for represent different types of East Eurasian. What is the exact difference between East_Siberian and Tungus-Altaic? I mean can we understand the type of East Eurasian ancestry by looking these components? Like more East Siberian = Possibility of Mongol admixture or more Tungus Altaic = Turkic admixture. Just wanted to give an example and not necessarily correct. I suspect they distributed randomly btw.

Well, I think Tungus-Altaic is something more Southern Siberian and Mongol whereas East Siberian is more like Northern Siberian. I don't know I'm just guessing. For example Northern Russians usually get East Siberian and Arctic rather than Tungus-Altaic which suggests a Finno-Ugric/Uralic source (see the Nenets, Khants/Mansi, etc.).
This is the Mongolian I posted a couple of months ago:

Yeah i got it. Then it is not random. In this sense i want to ask something. Although i'm half Turk i have shitload of EE and i don't know my father's exact ancestry. Balkan and Anatolian Turks score much more Tungus-Altaic than East_Siberia but as opposite i have more East Siberian and Arctic. Is this an indicator for non-Turkmen Turkic ancestry like Tatar or something? Or just coincidence?

Well, as you probably know these calculators are far from 100% accurate and I think at low levels some of the similar components may be interchangeable. For example one Turk may get more Tungus-Altaic and another more East Siberian. I'm talking about small amounts, of course Yakuts, Chinese and other pred. East Eurasian people would get much less random percentages.
According to the spreadsheet Tungus-Altaic peaks in Northeast China (Daur, Oroqen, Ulchi) and East Siberian in Nganassans, Nenets, Mansi and Selkups (Western, Northwestern Siberia). Arctic peaks in Eskimo and Greenlanders, Paleo-Siberian in Itelmens and Koryaks (Chukotka). South-East Asian is basically Tibet and Southern China, Austronesian is Taiwan and the Northern Philippines.

I think it's Turkic. 2.45% TA and 1% SE Asian.
Some more interesting results. This is a family - Kalmyk father, Russian mother, their daughter and grandson. There are no grandson's father's results but he appears to be Ukrainian or even Polish, i.e. a bit more Western than most Russians.

I was thinking same with you but after collect some Turkish kits and check TurkishDNA's data i saw there is no any single Anatolian Turk who score more East_Siberian than Tungus-Altaic. (24 Sample in my archive - more than 100 sample in TurkishDNA) After check Balkan Turks (41 sample) yes there are some people - 8 Person - scored more East Siberian and they are mostly from Northern Bulgaria, around Dobrudja. So i suspected something is wrong in me.

Maybe your EE is more Northern for some reason, who knows.
