A village in northern Austria, worried by its dwindling population, is offering free land to all who pledge to start a family in a decade, the Kurier newspaper reported Saturday. Skip related content

Plots of 800 and 900 square metres (8,611 to 9,687 square feet) are up for grabs at Rappottenstein, near the Czech border, to both singles and married couples who pledge to have at least one child in the next 10 years.

Singles also have get married. Other conditions stipulate that the new owners have to build a house on the plot in three years. If the conditions are not fulfilled, the owners will have to pay 12,000 euros (15163 dollars).

The commune where the village is located is home to only 1,760 people.

The offer will likely be taken up by the least desirables in society, like gypsies and non-European immigrants.

Unfortunately that may very well be the case, in a healthy society the gypsies and non-Europeans wouldn't even be allowed to live let alone breed within our nations. They are just going to see this as another hand-out, while there may be some good Austrian folks taking up this offer, I think we can all bet on some freeloaders from the third world taking it up too. Once we take our nations back, we would be free of that worry.

I think they'll find a home in Pakistan or in India, :D If those nations won't take them then the Middle of the Atlantic Ocean would be a good home, but then we'd be arrested for pollution. Crap, what do you suggest we do with them?

my thoughts as well, as most Europeans dont need hand outs we can do it on our own ..its the minorities that are always taking the hand outs...:cool:

LOL only 1760? the village where i live has got only about 270 inhabitants. another village nearby is populated by less than 90 ppl. i know about villages further north that have only 12, 20 etc inhabitants and nobody is giving free land :D

It's not hard to find someone in Europe. Just come.

Trying to find volunteer work or other safe entry point. I'd like to leave this month if I can.
