Apart from Cubans, Haitians are the largest Caribbean population in Miami.

Some of them do display some Euro admixture, don't they?

Well, most are pure Negroes. Bantuids, Congolids, Sudanids.

Yes. But most of them look fully African -- mostly Central African.

I love it how most big US cities have specifically designated ethnic enclaves - not even Brazilian cities do, for the most part.

Girl on the left is one of the darkest types still showing European input.. some are more blatantly mixed, but I think Haitians look the most SSA in the Caribbean.

Brazilian cities absolutely do, or, they did. They still have designated quarters in the big cities that actually got cosmopolitan immigration - which is mostly just Sao Paulo and Rio.

I think it's funny the mental gymnastics Europeans go to when trying to analyze the superlatively diverse American population. They'll mention "ethnic enclaves" in the US like "America so bad for this, we're so diverse and accepting here, we don't segregate", yada yada, when the obvious reality is that you're not diverse and you never really received any foreign populations of scale (within a compressed enough time period, or in general) for them to form ethnic enclaves - where you have, you definitely have ethnic enclaves (see any Chinatown, many so-designated neighborhoods of East London that are dominated by South Asians, Caribbeans, Jews in Golders Green, etc).

Little Haiti, for example, is an actual ethnic enclave that sprung up because of significant numbers (in absolute terms) of recent Haitian immigrants. "Little Italy" neighborhoods, in New York, Cleveland, San Diego, San Francisco, etc, were ethnic enclaves when the US received the most Italian immigrants in the world in a short period of time from the 1890s through the 1920s. They aren't ethnic enclaves anymore, as a different ethnic array has populated these places, while Italian Americans blend into the White American melange and move to the suburbs or around to different neighborhoods, like everyone else. Other cities, like St. Louis, Chicago, and New Orleans are dominated in part or in whole by Italians, but they never really formed enclaves, they just formed the basis for many neighborhoods throughout these cities.
