one thing i have noticed is that khatris are much more alpinized than other punjabis, I think arains are also similar.

yes. I saw plenty of alpine influences in delhi. Many of them might be khatris. but again if you look at them they look mostly alpine with some brachid or armenoid type influences than nord indid mixed. only one of them looks like alpinized nord indid.
