48.8% is average. Range is 19% to 86%.

Actually that African score includes North African too, so it's really less SSA than it appears.

Santiago folks needs to make up 30% of those results for it be anywhere close to reality.
Those results are skewed to Fogo and SV...I would say even for the mixed islands that average SSA is little low.
All of CV is something like 60 SSA/40 Euro.
23andme seems to have a better algorithm for CV's African.

23andme seems to have a better algorithm for CV's African.
My impression is Santiago is mostly griffes (70-80% SSA) and the other islands, for the most part, lean slightly European.
There aren't a lot from Brava on that spreadsheet where I'd expect the African to be even lower than in Fogo and Sao Vicente.
