They both were originally Socialists who then made the far-from-uncommon jump towards Fascism by the time the Nazis occupied France.

I've added another one.

I have a thread on Laval. Some sort of Armenid/Indid mix. Looks gypsy.

While Laval is an extreme/rare type for France and indeed anywhere in Europe, Doriot is not so unusual for France, and is precisely among the types of ethnic Frenchmen who doesn't easily pass in the UK.

Doriot’s look is more Central-Eastern.

Well either way, his look is rather more common in France than in the UK. In fact, from both my own experience of French people in real life and those I have seen in photos and TV, I'd say at least 20-25% of ethnic French people don't (easily) pass in the UK.

First one is Alpine.
Second I'm sure is not ethnic French just by looking at him - Indobrachid (must be a Gypsy).

The second looks indian or middle eastern

I know. Very rare for anywhere in Europe and probably would look quite exotic even in Turkey and the Caucasus.

Genealogy of Laval seem fully french, but maybe he was adopted... i never see a native french with this look.

Doriot looks like some member of my family (cousin and other). A french look, totally native and non-anglo-saxon.
