He scores high North Atlantic in K36, this might indicate Galatian Celtic ancestry:

He scores high North Atlantic in K36, this might indicate Galatian Celtic ancestry:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galatians_(people)#History

Most likely because of Sintashta-like ancestry in Seljuks. For whatever reason Sintashta gets high North-Atlantic:

North_Atlantic (mostly northern European)

- Sintashta: 21.5%
- Iron Age Sweden : 19.5%
- Mesolithic Sweden: 19.5%
- Iron Age England : 19%
- Afanasievo : 16.5%
- Corded Ware Denmark: 15.5%
- Corded Ware Germany (Esperstedt): 15%
- Mesolithic Hungary: 10%
- Yamna: 9%
- Mesolithic Luxembourg: 9%
- Mesolithic Spain: 8%
- Mesolithic Karelia: 7%
- Mesolithic Samara: 0%
- Nordic Bronze Age Denmark: 0%

If he had Galatian Celtic ancestry he would get high Central-Euro as Celts came from Bavaria/Austria.

If he had Galatian Celtic ancestry he would get high Central-Euro as Celts came from Bavaria/Austria.

Nope, Central Euro is not a typically Celtic component. Hallstatt Celts from what is now Czech Republic scored low Central Euro:

https://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?276875-Hallstatt-Celt-DA111-850-700-BC-with-more-SNPs-than-before

https://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?276388-Hallstatt-Celt-DA112-850-700-BC

Germanic people such as Poprad chieftain scored much higher of Central Euro, which is rather an Eastern Germanic component:

That is almost as much as 23andMe v5 chip, so not bad at all... :)

There is another Ottoman Turk with closer to 90,000 SNPs in K36, and with even more Mongoloid/Siberian results.

Modern Turks have - on average - more of Pre-Turkic Anatolian ancestry than this sample.

I guess it means that in 1400-1600 AD Turkicization of Anatolia was still in progress (and mixing between Turks and Non-Turks was still in progress).

Why did you thumb down my post? What exactly is "controversial" about these results?

The other sample - MA2195 - scores even more more Mongoloid than this one. Check:

Turks don't want to admit they are Anatolians/Greeks/Balkanites/Arabs/Armenians and not steppe conquerors.

Turks don't want to admit they are Anatolians/Greeks/Balkanites/Arabs/Armenians and not steppe conquerors.

They are obviously a mixture of both groups, whether they like it or not.

But there are still some regions of Turkey which have very high Mongoloid.

So some people in Central Anatolia still practiced nomadic lifestyle as late as the 1400s-1500s?

Seems mixed with Anatolians&Levantines only 1 or 2 generation. Still mostly Turkic.

he could be either first/second generation or the result of progressive admixtures over the centuries between anatolians and turkomans.

Here comes an another mestizo trans-animal from the ass hole of the world called Argentina, commeting on the genetics of turks. How funny.

would be interesting to know what language these natives spoke. this was mostly hittite territory apparently.

Hitties lived 3000 years ago. The region's genetic make up have changed a lot with migrations ever since.

When you mix Central Anatolian Greek average and this sample, you get the average Turkish results:

Although the topic seems to be closed, i have to say that there were no greeks living in this city of my knowledge. Very interesting, my ancestors came exactly at this time to the same city. Unfortunately I hardly find any information about the pre-Turkish history of Kirsehir.

Turks don't want to admit they are Anatolians/Greeks/Balkanites/Arabs/Armenians and not steppe conquerors.

There are Armenian, Arabian, Greek and Balkan minorities in Turkey but this does not mean Turks are mixture of these ethnic minorities. We are Native Anatolians with some Northeast Asian admixture. Saying that Turks are mixture of Anatolians/Greeks/Balkanites/Arabs/Armenians = Saying French are mixture of Celts/Italics/Arabians/West Africans/South Africans.

Nope, Central Euro is not a typically Celtic component. Hallstatt Celts from what is now Czech Republic scored low Central Euro:

https://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?276875-Hallstatt-Celt-DA111-850-700-BC-with-more-SNPs-than-before

https://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?276388-Hallstatt-Celt-DA112-850-700-BC

Germanic people such as Poprad chieftain scored much higher of Central Euro, which is rather an Eastern Germanic component:
