I bet many everyday people would guess him as Greek in North America, from his pseudo-Greek sounding surname

His surname is an 'Assyrianized' or 'naturalised' form of Greek "Geōrgios", which comes from Latin Georgius. Related to "Georges" in English, many predominantly Christian peoples have surnames derived from "Georges", which was probably popularised from Saint George.

Here are the international variant forms of George/Georges (it's a very common Christian name):

Never heard of him but he definitely looks atypical and very tall for an Assyrian.

He's based in Sydney. He isn't that famous.

He is not tall though. His head shape is giving that impression. Judging from his photos, where he stands with some local Assyrians that I know of, he seems to be around 170cm-175cm. Very typical height range among Assyrian males.

How tall is the guy standing next to him in one of the photos, he looks at least a head shorter lmao. And yeah I won't question the 170-175 range, that seems spot on.
