Looks very Semitic and Mesopotamian. Pics aren't the greatest:

Syrid/Arabid. The baby is really cute, and his last name is indicating to me that he is from the glorious ancient plains of Nineveh?

Syrid/Arabid seems about right.

Nope, he is from Hakkari. Which figures, cos he is pretty dark. Hakkarians do have Arabic surnames at times.

Btw, Syrid is an Arabid and Armenoid mix anyway. :)

Lmao right, there's a Maslawi family with the same last name so that's why I drifted towards the Plains.

Syrid is my pick.

Yep, he just looks Arab. But phenotypically, since he is a brachycephalic, he cannot be a textbook Arabid, as they're rather dolichocephalic with protruding occiputs. And this guy's occiput's is incredibly flat and Armenoid-like.

Deformed Arabid.

I know Southern Arabs and Levantines mostly have long skull but some Mesopotamians such as Iraqis, Syrians and Kurds have short skull, is it because of some kind of Caucasus-Anatolian influence in Mesopotamians?
