Sweet find Slavic Italian. Their data security seems better than those of other companies offering similar service at first sight, but also they offer you health risks based on your genome (something I find interesting and something I would pay for) other than more or less simple ancestry test (something I don't find interesting at all).

we provide more accurate and comprehensive analysis: Our next-generation sequencing technology can read out whole genomes, while most of our competitors use outdated technologies that would capture only a tiny percentage of your genetic information.
The accuracy of your results will depend on whether you choose low-pass or clinical-grade Whole Genome Sequencing. Low-pass sequencing reads out your genome at a lower depth than clinical-grade sequencing (0.4x vs. 30x average coverage). The results obtained from low-pass sequencing data have an accuracy of ~99%, while clinical-grade sequencing produces results that are >99.99% accurate. Low-pass sequencing is much more affordable than clinical-grade sequencing, yet it generates thousands of times more data than the outdated technologies our competitors offer at similar prices.

Ethnicity report is not so important I think. Biggest deal is full genome sequence for low price. You can estimate deepest subclades for YDNA and mtDNA for example (using other tools).
I consider about buying it too.
I already have credits for a free kit via their website. Just need to wait until they start shipping internationally.
Is there any catch or something? 99 dollars for full genome sounds weird as hell. I'll probably do it when/if they start shipping to Europe.

For now it's a Low-pass Whole Genome Sequencing (0.4x coverage) but in the future it will be 30x coverage

I just received my results. They are accurate it seems. They reinforce the accuracy of K36 report to be honest. The info is very general. They nailed my muscle mass and high testosterone levels in the traits feature. They nailed all my habits and so forth. They need to add sub categories, imo.
72% North/Central European:German, British, and Irish being the references
25% Med:Malta, Sicily, Cyprus, Albania, and Bulgaria.
3% Central Asia: Hazara, Uygur, Uzbek, and Kalash.

Is this the same service claiming to allow you control of third party use as well as receiving compensation for participating in research? I forget where but I read about one article discouraging it for privacy reasons. The ancestry results seem all too generic. And combining loosely related populations into one cluster is also problematic. Hopefully it improves. I may hold off until then.

Yea. I imagine it all comes down to algorithms. In truth I really doesn’t matter what they label the components. They could just use the average for each ethnic group to break it down regionally.
Now this is basically claiming to be a full genome autosomal test?
Was the gedmatch result shocking compared to 23andme that is just a fragment of our genetic code? Or was it roughly the same but more accurate with closer distances? It may be useful just for the DNA file.

This. It also got a little more closer as far as specifics. It's roughly the same but more accurate with closer distances. The raw data file is huge. Much larger than the other DNA services so this makes it worth it alone. To be honest. When you compare to the Gedmatch results the DNA Tribes SNP Analysis was very comparable which makes me wonder now. Too bad they closed shop four months ago.

I may get it for the file alone. Could I message you how to convert it? I don’t know all that stuff lol.
I miss DNA tribes. I’m mad I didn’t get to use it for my mom or dad before they shut it down. Why did they any ways?
I know YDNA and Autosomal is separate but I thought some old admixtures would show up. Aside from some minimal percent for Tunisian Jew/ Persian Jew and Sephardic Jew(which I have never gotten in other tests) it was mostly very accurate. Only confusion was I got some Denmark and no East European despite my YDNA. And I thought it was ancient alleles?
That’s why I want to do the full genome autosomal test. It should paint the most accurate picture. All my dna kits jump around a bit. My living dna is further north. My ancestry dna is further south with 23 just a smidge north of my ancestrydna on most pcas.

Hey *&^%,
With regard to Ancestry, granularity depends on the number of people who use our service.
The ancestry reports will become more detailed over time as our user base grows. I'm going
to forward your question about your Y Chromosome to our co-founder and chief scientist,
Dennis Grishin, who can provide more insight into this–my apologies for any delays, busy
time around Nebula HQ : )
Thanks again for all of your support and patience!
