When you wil find a REAL Italian here that claims North Italians look German make me a phone call. Good luck to find him for your 90° birthday.

My claim here is that north, central and south Italians don't look that different from each other in terms of pigmentation and phenotype. And the Dinarid/Dinaro-Med component is present across Italy. However, in the north there are more "Atlanto" types than in the south, and in that sense, they look closer to Iberians. But I have never said that north Italians look more Iberian than like other Italians, you are mistaking me for Sikeliot...

Interesting, is there more info οn his origin?

I'm not aware of any Everet in Greece but there is Evert(Έβερτ), ultimately of Bavarian origin hailing from the personal guard of the king.

Lipara (Sicilian surname)

Also, this translates to fat in Greek.

Despite the chimping from all sides here, these people are not very dark or exotic anyway. Don't know why so much fuss about them.

Out of around 32 people I counted in a quick observation at least 18 that are light-eyed. This is more than 50% and more than anywhere else in Southern Europe. So even if it was an attempt of darkwashing than it's a failure anyway. The ones who are South Italian look average South Euro in majority and some even pass easily up north in France and parts of C. Europe.

In fact no one of those people look non-European. But if you don’t post German-looking North Italians in order to demonstrate this “pureness” of their Aryan race it seems like your countrymen get triggered...

As a group they do not pass easily in Northern France/Northwestern France. Even the ethnic French from Rhône-Alpes (just 500 km away) look fundamentally different phenotypically. They'd pass more easily - much more - in the Northern Balkans, after central and southern Italy. Despite some deniers, there's a phenotypical continuum across the Italian peninsula.

IMO it was not an attempt to darkwash North Italians. I think Rossignol's intention was to demonstrate that North Italians are not that different from South Italians, both fall into the South Euro range. Italy is a Mediterranean country, almost all regions are bathed by the Mediterranean sea. The non-Mediterranean regions of Italy are just five: Piedmont, Valley of Aosta, Lombardy, Trentino Alto Adige and Umbria. But in these regions you can still find Med-looking people, like these specimen from Valley of Aosta here:

Ego Perron (Perron is 100% North Italian surname)

Laurent Viérin (Viérin is 100% North Italian surname)

Exactly!

In eye color, grenoble's french are slightly lighter but in skin tone, they are mostly pinkish white whereas most italian aren't.

Europe.

That's not the point, OP is a troll only here to DW North Italians. This is clear like the water. If that was somewhat serious he would have provided surnames origin etc. Italy is not homogeneous. Only retarded clowns or/and ppl that have zero clue about North Italy can actually believe their mainly originated from that region. In fact this thread has at the end the reverse effect from what it was originally created for, since South Italians here are indeed not really exotic at all.
