I2-M284 occurs almost exclusively in Britain and Ireland, but has also been found in Portugal, France, Germany and Norway. It is a very old haplogroup, originating some 10,000 years ago and is split in two subclades Y10626 and L1195, which are each about 7,000 years old. Present-day carriers share a common ancestor who lived approximately 5,500 to 6,000 years ago."

There really doesn't appear to be much differences.

The southern shift can't be explained by a Neolithic relict, MBA Scotland shows clear geneflow from Central Europe in both formal methods and G25.

Circa 1200BC is when Urnfield began penetrating Britain and fortified settlements started to be built in Britain's coast, probably to restrain the entrance of Celts from Continental Europe. This was a period of marked violence, burned round house (native British) settlements are abundant and protective Bronze gears and collared urns starts appearing all over the isles. Celtic admixture also becomes evident.
