Partition was brutal. The Pakistanis ended up with most of the hot chicks.

India also has many hot chicks , but most Indian types can easily be found somewhere in Pakistan as well.

Is there really a huge difference between her and other Pakistanis? Doubt it

It does but it’s also a much larger nation. When you go by proportions the difference is stark

She is from Pashtun family settled in South Punjab for some generations though. But when it comes to women there is decent amount similarities between lot of Pakistani ethnicities. Biggest difference is that very dark types found in Punjab are not found in West and North Pakistan.

actually she could fit among the pakistani punjabis who shift towards pashtuns. I cant see her in india, even punjab. Maybe due to the pamirid influence. My point is that most modern day pakistanis had always stayed there. They didn't migrate to the region post partition or something but yeah i get what you meant though haha. Pakistani women on average do look better than indian women.

Two reasons for that-PJL types found in east pak & alpinization among western paks

So do you agree that there are differences between Punjabi’s in both countries?

yeah based on many pics from pakistan and some prank videos on youtube, there are some differences. not that much though. Indian punjabis don't look as alpine influenced as pakistani punjabis, but surprisingly I did see many alpine influenced people in Delhi. It could be khatris who tend to have origins from west punjab. Pakistani punjabis, especially women, are very light skinned as well in comparison. Indian punjabis look more traditionally Indid withouth much alpine, pamirid, irano afghan influences found in much of pakistan. But both punjabis look nord indid for the most part with slight differences.

There is might be some difference specially among woman , but most NW Indians can easily pass for typical Pakistanis. Currently I am watching Indian news channels and most defence experts are from NW India/High castes with names like Mehta/Chopra and so on. they very much look like how Pak top brass look.

Why are some resistant to this idea

I'm not sure either. Maybe such differences are expected based on geography but dont matter much since they're both punjabis and look it for the most part.

ethno nationalism , those people who associate strongly with ethnicity tend to be like this, Pakistani Pashtun nationalist will not accept some differences with Afghan Pashtuns , while Indian Punjabi nationalist might do the same with Pakistani Punjabis . Pakistani Pashtuns and Pakistani punjabis are a much bigger Population than their counterparts in India and Afghanistan, most of their Indian and Afghan counterparts can pass among diversity of their Pakistani kin.

better in pakistan punjab imo. you dont have the nord indid element that even dalits have in indian punjab. Pakistan punjab is way more diverse as well compared to indian punjab.

Actually one thing I have noticed is that Indian Punjabi’s often look Euro shifted while Pakistani ones look west Asian shifted. Is that a fair assessment?

As I've just recently boarded Turkish Airlines, and have seen the Turkish staff both in the Airport and on-board the plane. I can tell you this girl can pass in Turkey 100% pretty easily.

That is exactly what I've observed. Very good observation. Jatt sikhs I've seen usually look a lot more European, where as Pakistani Punjabis can look more west asian looking.

They have higher steppe, that's why. Whereas Pakis are likely to be more Gedrosia shifted.
