How does this one differ from the other PCAs? Strange how Jana and her parents are outliers here, when the calculators show they are normal Croats.

How does this PCA function though ? It's more refined compared to primitive tool I was using.

Yes, seems like Jana is outlier in a way because of her abnormal (for this region, at least) North Sea admixture. I would really like to see myself on this , but looks like Anđelko left me out.

That's because you didn't spam your results all over the various autosomal threads like myself and Sinan did :) I also wondered why I'm an outlier here, when I'm usually not, it seems it's because of the high North See and low Atlantic that I score.

I want to see if they are more similar to Slovenes than to Croats? I know there are probably from NW Bosnia but they should have Austrian admix too.

Burgenland Croats plot from Banovina Croats to north. Very logical, because Banovina is next to NW Bosnia.

I have Polish Upper Silesian kits (with GEDCOM, so there is no mistake: they are native to Silesia) who plot VERY southern for Poles:

https://i.imgur.com/ZvMEbeu.png

^^^ White Croat / White Serb survivors? :) This probably explains why many Upper Silesians look as dark as coal from their mines.

=====

See:

"SILESIAN CROATIANS - (Translated on google from Polish)
Silesian Croatians (Latin Chrouati) - a Slavonic tribe from the 10th century, mentioned in the document of the Prague bishopric from 1086, supposedly inhabiting the area of the Kłodzko Valley). (...)"

They were mentioned as living next to Psouane (Pszowianie - in the region of Pszów):

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psz%C3%B3w

"(...) Psouane, Crouati et altera Chrouati, Zlasane, Trebouane, Pobedane, Dedosizi [...] "(“Pszowianie, Chorwaci [Czech] and alternatively [Sudetów] Chorwaci [śląscy], Ślężanie, Trzebowianie, Bobrzanie, Dziedoszyce”). The word "altera" can alternatively be translated as a "second tribe" called the Croatian, which slightly changes its interpretation. The split of the tribe into two parts had to be conditioned by the natural geographical barrier of the Sudetes. The location of Silesian Croats on the Kłodzko Land is quite commonly accepted, but historiography has not gained unequivocal and universal acceptance.
Bohemian Croats - one of the most important Czech tribes, situated between Pszów and Ślężany, as documented by the Prague Document of 1086, describing the borders of the Diocese of Prague from 973: ... Psouane, Crouati et altera Chrouati, Zlasane [...]. It consisted of two separate fragments (nowadays in the Czech sciences: Eastern Croatian / Charváti and Western Croatian / Charvátci), separated by the Sudeten range (Niederle, Labuda, Widajevich - the last one specifying that the Croatian soil could only be Kłodzko land). Czech Croats are located south of the Giant Mountains to the west of the Jizera River. The second faction, commonly referred to as the Silesian Croats, is quite commonly located in Kłodzko. Czech Croats most often appear in historical sources from all the historical tribes of non-Balkan Croats. The following certificates may apply to Czech Croats:
[1] In the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle of Alfred the Great (849-899), the "Horiti" tribe appears east of the Dalemini tribe.
[2] In the Croatian territory, the Duchess of Drahomir escaped after the murder of her son Wenceslas I, the Czech prince in 929 (or 936), which records the Second Life of St. Wenceslas.
[3] The Czech Croats sometimes see in the mysterious accounts of the Byzantine emperor Constantine Porfirogenety (905-959) about White or Great Croatia, located in the north of Bavaria, in the vicinity of the Czech Republic, Germany and pagan Sorbs.
[4] Czech Croatians cite the Prague Document of 1086, reflecting the state of affairs of the appointment of the Prague bishopric in 973.
Only the last validation probably indicates Croatian Croats. There is no certainty as to whether other reports refer to Czech Croats.

Your sample is not representative.

Also as far as I can see your Ukrainian samples are all from Western Ukraine, which was a Polish colony for 600 years.

Of course they are not. My samples are only the users from Anthrogenica.

Oh, I thought that I21 were some academic samples...

I guess they are from that banned user Idwaajeden?

Some Ukrainians which gave me Idwayeden/modernancientdna look very Balkanic.

Hrvoje Vukčić Hrvatinić commented "He pass as Croat easy, familiar face"

He can pass as a Croat but according to his appearance I would rather group him with the Poles.

I've tried to make 3D PCA for former Yugoslav samples. This is the result:
