To know their haplogroups, you can just test their descendants. But to know their autosomal DNA, you need bones of actual historical person.

They'd likely look like Steppe shifted locals. Ho hum. Would only really be interested in the first few generations of Steppe invaders into Central/South Asia, or for how long European genetic profiles persisted in those regions.

We already have that. Bronze Age Kazakhstan and stuff like that. Iron Age Turkmenistan is already mixed but still much more Steppic than any modern population.

Well, it's not "offensive" IMO but completely unnecessary from an (Orthodox) Christian perspective. He wasn't an alien or anything like that according to our teaching, so how much East Med or West Asian He would've scored would mean nothing and change nothing in the end.
