Most of Torbeshi's migrated to Turkey after the Balkan Wars and they are assimilated among Turks. They were legit Macedonian(South Slav) muslims. Today's Torbeshi population that lives in N.Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo seems not a homogenous group such as Pomaks but more like a mix of Muslim population of that region. Not all of them genetically Torbeshi. Includes Muslim Albanians, Muslim Greeks, Muslim Macedonians.

For legit Torbeshi's, i don't think they have East Eurasian input from Turks. I can imagine they are typical Macedonians with a slight shift to Albanians because they were living at the border of Albania.

This Torbeshi is probably a descendant of Muslim Greeks that run away to the last strongholds of the Ottoman Empire in the Balkans when Greece was liberated in the 19th century!
His results don't even show an Albanian shift but Greek one.

In general I find it difficult to pinpoint the differences between a Greek and an Albanian in Eurogenes and Dodecad K12b calculators. I only know that Albanians are closer to Tuscan. For example does this combination of populations indicate Albanian shift?

Almost all closest matches of him are Albanian with 1-2 Balkan Turk. There are also few Greeks but not more than Albanians. I can give kit number if you still need.

At 23andme I have mathces in Balkans only with Greece (higly likely) and Albania (possible). My Albanian regions are those of Laberia!

Yeah, probably Greek ancestry in South Albania and Albanian ancestry in Greece(Arvanites)...

At LM ancestral K36 report I also get high Albanian frequency. I have also at K36 similarity map 84-85% at Peloponnese, Western mainland Greece and Albania. Peloponnese has many Arvanites but I have no known Arvanite ancestry. I don't know what to say.

I think your y-dna is more interesting than potential Albanian mix - i don't think you have recent Albanian mix though, as i said it is expected to see genetic similarity between Greeks and Albanians it is not necessarily points out Albanian mix. Perhaps not recent one. -

My y-dna is a mystery! I found out I share common segments with the Proto-Thracian R-Z93 Bronze Age Bulgaria sample. Maybe it is from a Bronze Age settler in Balkans like him but I can't be sure.
