Interestingly his cousin I2417 appears to have near corded ware levels of steppe ancestry.
I2416 is probably just some EEF beaker rapebaby.

Interesting. Isn't he the one who is from the Swiss Alps originally so these Gedmatch results make sense.

What? Nope, he is almost half Neolithic British (not Neolithic from the continent).

He was local and a close cousin of I2417 (but I2417 had no any British Neolithic DNA):

https://eurogenes.blogspot.com/2019/02/the-boscombe-bowmen.html

"(...) These individuals [I2416 and I2417] are probably third-degree relatives, which makes it unlikely that they're migrants to the region (...). Note also that almost all of the populations are basically sitting between the two bowmen. This indeed suggests to me that the cultural processes and resulting population mixtures that took place at the Boscombe site also played out across the width and breadth of the Beaker realm, giving rise to heterogeneous Beaker groups almost everywhere within it (...)"

I2416 had probably two Neolithic British and two continental Beaker great-grandparents.

If you run "admixture by chromosome" you can see that I2416 is close to 50/50 mix on every chr.

So he was a recently mixed individual, probably in the generation of grandparents or so.

Basically "British Mestizo" - evidence of mixing between immigrant Bell Beakers and native Neolithic Britons.
