Pitbulls maul postal
carrier

Norwich (WTNH) - A postal worker has been hospitalized after he was attacked by two pitbulls while on his route in Norwich. Turns out, this is not the first time that the owner has had problems with his dogs.
News Channel 8 obtained exclusive video of the dogs that were seized by police following the attack. We spoke to the Good Samaritan that jumped into action when he heard the postal worker screaming for help. News Channel 8 also spoke to the dogs' owner.

Tage Wright of Montville was working nearby and came running with his hammer when he heard the postal carrier's screams.
"They were young and very aggressive. They were really going after him, that poor guy. If he would have gone down again...they tore up his neck, thigh and forearm," Tage recounted.
David Holland owns the dogs and says they got loose through the back fence. He says neighbors should have told him they were loose.
Holland: "Why she didn't report it to me or call the police, like they usually do."

News Channel 8's Bob Wilson: "So they call the police on you?"
Holland: "Yeah, they call the police on me all the time."
Holland was laughing and joking looking at the yard smeared with blood. Police say they have been called to the house 28 times and the history extends past today's two dogs. Investigators say their parents were put down after a vicious attack on a Meals on Wheels driver.

Wilson: "What do you say about the dogs?"

Holland: "They was protecting this house."

Wilson: "From a mailman?"

Holland: "I came outside and he was hitting them in the head with a chair."

Witness say the postman was across the street at a neighbor's house trying to get the chair between him and the dogs. Police say they have arrested Holland and charged him with the dog attack, but there could be more serious charges pending, including a possible felony because of his history.

Wilson: "Do you feel bad they got the mailman?"

Holland: "Of course I feel bad, who wouldn't feel bad? It's a grown man, like, if you saw the way he was screaming you would feel bad."

Wilson: "You are kind of smiling."

Holland: "I'm smiling because you pissing me the f--- off."

The mailman has 22 puncture wounds, broken bones and needs surgery.

The dogs should be put to sleep and the owner of the dogs should be shot. Dumb niggers shouldn't have dogs anyway...

Astoundingly, for most of our history America’s nickname for Pit Bulls was “The Nanny Dog”. For generations if you had children and wanted to keep them safe you wanted a pit bull, the dog that was the most reliable of any breed with children or adults.

The Nanny Dog is now vilified by a media that always wants a demon dog breed to frighten people and LHASA-APSO BITES MAN just doesn’t sell papers.

Before pit bulls it was Rottweilers, before Rottweilers it was Dobermans, and before them German Shepherds. Each breed in it’s order were deemed too vicious and unpredictable to be around people. Each time people wanted laws to ban them. It is breathtakingly ironic that the spotlight has turned on the breed once the symbol of our country and our national babysitter.

In temperance tests (the equivalent of how many times your kid can poke your dog in the eye before he bites him) of all breeds the most tolerant was the Golden Retriever. The second most tolerant was the pit bull.

Pit Bull’s jaws do not lock, they do not have the most powerful bite among dogs (German Shepherds have that honor) they are naturally neither human or animal aggressive (in fact pit bull puppies prefer human company to their mother’s two weeks before all other dogs), and they feel as much pain as any other breed (accidentally step on one’s toe and you’ll see).

The most tolerant, patient, gentle breed of dogs is now embarrassingly portrayed as the most dangerous. It would be funny if the new reputation did not mean 6,000 are put to death every day, by far the highest number of any other breed euthanized.

That’s a lot of babysitters.

Pit bulls were bred as fighting dogs. Sure, when properly bred & trained they can be very good companion animals; but the situation today is that they are poorly bred & overbred, as well as badly trained.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published in 2000 a study on dog bite-related fatalities (DBRF) that covered the years 1979–1998. The study found reports of 238 people killed by dogs over the 24-year period, of which "pit bull terrier" or mixes thereof were reportedly responsible for killing 76, or about 32 percent, of the people killed by dogs in the attacks identified in the study. The breed with the next-highest number of attributed fatalities was the Rottweiler and mixes thereof, with 44 fatalities or about 18 percent of the study-identified fatalities.

Don't think that I have something against pit bulls, either. My family has two females which are real sweethearts.

Not to sound like a prick, but many lines of American Pit Bull have become inbred and unstable from generations of trash breeding programs. Every trailer park in America is full of these dogs and quit often they seem to snap and kill people.
