Is South Asian common among Cypriots?

not really, I believe that he may have Kurdish ancestry. The people brought in from Anatolia were not all Turkish, some were Kurdish and Pontian. I am suspecting one of his ancestors were Kurdish but that's only a theory.

It is possible, I think. The average South Asian admixture of Kurds on Eurogenes K13 is 8.07%. He also has much more Western Asian than Cypriots.

actually, his west Asian is average for Cypriots. His result is quite unique though

They have just 1.10 and 0.80% on Dodecad K12b. Is it because of Gedrosia?

Dodecad references can't be trusted but yeah, the SA on K13 is part West Eurasian. Remember Hadouken, he scores 6% on K13 but only 2+% on Dodecad K12b. You can see the Turkish Cypriot's results from Dod & Harappa above, little to no South Indian.
