A Toowoomba woman has set an Australian record after giving birth to her 15th child.

Jeni Bonnell and husband Ray welcomed little Damien into their family last Saturday night.

"The more the merrier," Mr Bonnell told Nine News.

Damien's arrival will mean another birthday to remember, another mouth to feed and another bed to allocate in the Bonnell's bulging home.

"He'll just blend in like the rest of them have," Mrs Bonnell said.

"We would love to have more, if at all possible. But I think nature will step in eventually and say 'No more'."

Mr Bonnell added: "I've run out of hands. You need to be an Octopus!"

Lovely. :)

EDIT : 15 children isn't an Australian record though, not sure why they said that. I can think of numerous examples of people having more children. Australian 'Family First Party' politician, for one, came from a family of 16 children.

ThereŽs plenty of Land left in Australia.
So they will have no Problem.
IŽd prefer rather 15 white childs than 15 black/mixed childs.
Maybe everyone shall go along with her.

What is she? Mormon or something? You'll be able to park a plane in there by now! :D

On a more serious note I agree with Celti, its good that she's had a lot of white kids, at least she's doing something to keep the white population figures up (whether she's doing it for that reason or not).
We need more white people to have larger families, four kids is a good amount.

If you have more children, you can already include the older ones into the work and control tasks of the family, actually you have to usually and that's absolutely normal.

Seems to be a pretty good and higher standard family, a real pity there are not more European families of the middle and higher standards around being that brave and fertile.
