Which test more accurately differentiates French from British?

FamilyTree Dna, AncestryDNA and 23andme

My results from:

FTDNA:
81% West and Central Europe
6% British Isles
6% Scandinavian
5% Eastern European
2% trace regions

Ancestry DNA:
74% England, Wales and Northwestern European
16% Ireland & Scotland
8% Norway
2% African

23andme:
British & Irish: 37%
French & German: 28%
Scandinavian: 6%
Spanish & Portuguese: 2%
Broadly Northwestern: 22%
Broadly Southern: 2%
Broadly European: 2%
SSA: 3%


I am still trying to figure out if my family lore of being French Cajun is accurate or if that side of the family was actually Bretons.

In your experience which test is more accurate when differentiating the French from the British?

Well by the looks of that I’d say FTDNA is probably the most accurate then

Yes I do. I found my black ancestor through family tree documents.
My mother has roughly 7-10% SSA

But I’ll post that for you here in a bit

Here are my K13 and K15
My SSA is much lower
And they give me Oceanian and South Asian I’m unsure of
But my mother’s K13 and K15 show much higher SSA and other African percentages
