MTtree at Yfull

I am not sure if anyone’s aware, but it’s looks like there’s a MTree at Yfull for full resolution MTDNA uploads. I used to be H11a2* which I was assumed to form an independent branch from. Now it appears there’s a match from Macedonia, TMRCA 4700ypb. It now forms an independent branch we share called H11a2b. So for right now this MTDNA seems a Balkan type clade. I don’t read Cyrillic, could someone tell?

Oh. I meant the place of origin for my Macedonian match. When hovering over it shows the region name in Cyrillic so I have no idea where they’re from lol.

That makes sense. I emailed to ask his ethnicity since there are some Albanians in Kumanov as well. I once did that MTDNA report before the guy took his site down. He mentioned it forms a Balkan specific clade under H11a2. There were a handful of samples. My own(maternal line is from Shkoder with origin from Montenegrin Albanians), a match from Macedonia(maybe same guy), one from Romania, Bulgaria, Montenegro, and Serbia. Maybe those testers will eventually upload. I think its smart they have MTree now. It was neglected for the longest.

Ahh. Now that I look at it it does seem like its Konce. I sent him an email. There is another sample which I think is from a study, because its not labeled like a live sample. No country for it as well.
