Greece is too komplex. Church moved people around alot. For example alot of Greeks from all over Greece moved to Constantinople. Alot of Greeks from all over Greece moved to Despotate of Epirus. Alot of Greeks moved to Wallachia. Alot of Greeks from all over Greece moved to Nafplio which was the first capital of Greece before Athens... Alot of Greeks from all over Greece moved to Athens.. Same is true for alot of Greeks from all over Greece moved to Thessaloniki after the 1897 Greco Turkish war and alot of Greeks moved to Greece from Anatolia after 1922.. so we moved around alot. Thats why the differences between islands and north greece are very small.
