East Med is just a PC term for Orientalid influenced Med either or simply people who do not look West Med aka Iberian/Italian... i d say Atlanto-Iranid is more precise in his case since he is between those types

1st look typical Israeli: Semitic + EastMed + Alpine blend. Unless he has recent Jewish/Arab ancestry, many New World settlers had marrano ancestry and that may explain his look.
