No. He is Blacksea Turk from Akçaabat district of Trabzon, Northeastern Turkey. He has no Balkan ancestors

Turks from Trabzon are usually entirely West Eurasian and cluster with Laz and Armenians.

It's true for most part. But there are Black Sea Turks of Chepni Turkmen origin (mainly in coastal Giresun and western Trabzon) and Ekrem is one of them. Because Akçaabat is a Chepni district in Western Trabzon and Chepnis have the highest Mongoloid admixture in Turkey.

Yes, because Caucasians and Balkanians look very similar. Only genotype is different :/
