Give it a shot!

This is the path of my subclade:

Why are you always on the lookout for banks near you?

Doesn't seem accurate for my clade. It implies basal I2 was formed in Anatolia, which is untrue it was formed in Europe and oldest sample is from Greece. It also implies it was in Croatia in the bronze age?

Haha, what do you think for?
In UK, I am not tracking the banks, the banks are tracking me...

The website is going by Yfull results. The two Brits below me apparently came from Serbia then xD

Is there a way to update their data? I didnt test ftdna but I did Yfull and my founder clade was added to ISOGG. I never find it in here though.

It say's on the site they use FTDNA clades not YFULL clades; my matches YFULL clade wouldn't work so I had to use the FTDNA name.

I was thinking of it. I can buy bigY after this summer.

Yfull clades worked anyway. The 2 brits are below me on ftdna's block tree too

Is it accurate? It puts my clade (R-F2935) in Bronze Age Bulgaria.

All you have to do is follow the path of your subclade and there is where your ancestry mostly lies. I match DNA from all those areas from the Mid East through Europe where my subclade travelled.

Is your path the same with the path the phylogeographer indicates?

I did a YSEQ panel for $88 to get my subclade, idk you may wanna consider going that route.

We are from Kolomyja, one region east.

I saw many N haplogroup when I looked earlier my GEDmatch, but most had unspecified subclade just showed origin around Mongolia.

The I2 project forum told me first buy YSEQ. They told me someone with my surname is their already, I have uncommon surname so I'm looking forward do it soon.

My final subclade is found among Slavs mostly. Obviously a few Magyars. No Balts.

I forget if I asked you if you are going to test for your deeper sunclade? The test I did with YSEQ got me my modern era subclade, which helped answer some questions for me.

It's very strange if they're going by Yfull. When I enter my SNP it just changes automatically to the subclade SNP that doesn't exist on Yfull and the only person with that SNP is some German on some surname project at FTDNA.

I did Big Y and submitted my Bam file to yfull. your subclade might not even be what it is on yfull unless you submitted your personal Bam file to them

** I should do more tests to confirm it but since other options are mainly in Central Asia and the Urals, i predict this one is more reasonable than other options. So may be better to see its path too

I've just realized that the first time I've posted, the path of my subclade wasn't shown.
This is the right one:

https://i.postimg.cc/YSvYrVt1/Y16729.png (https://postimg.cc/KKyRQ0kz)

I don't know what to make out of it, close to the southern Turkish coast, I can see the logic behind it, although I don't agree.
So far, SNP confirmed Y16729 men, are found in the Balkans, the British isles, North Italy, Portugal, and in the Eastern coast of the Arabian peninsula.
However, in the case of the Arabs, it seems it's a founder effect that dates to the late antiquity and the Roman Empire so when calculating the path, the Arabs should not be of any importance before the late antiquity...

There is also no evidence that L389/P297/M269 was ever associated with CHG, Maykop and/or Caucasus, so in that area the map is also wrong.
