I have some Sephardi roots and my Sephardi Ancestors came up through Iran into Georgia before heading south west. On a few admixture tests in Gedmatch I get 0.7 distance with Georgian Jews (Mountain Jews). My MTDNA is Also Middle Eastern/Iranian/Caucasian (also found in Northern Europe at small levels).
