No, its not worth it of yo are looking for deeper clades. This is just my experience but I did the Y111 and it put me at E-M35 which is upstream from what 23 and me gave me (E-V13). I then tested E-V13 SNP pack and finally Big Y (and now Y700 upgrade). Unless money is the issue, I would ignore anything but Big-Y at FTDNA. you will likely end up spending as much or more messing around with y tests and SNP tests than if you just went Big Y from the start. just try to get it on sale.
