This sample is from the study Fernandes et al. 2018:

https://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?287204-DNA-of-ancient-inhabitants-of-Poland-and-neighbouring-areas

Genesis Kit Number: XM9113846
Name: N22 Poland Hunter-Gatherer

Similarity map:

Interesting that similarity to northern Poles (even northern Western Poles) is higher than to Belarusians:
(Kashubia 73, Wielkopolska 70, Mazovia 70, Suwalki 72, Lithuania 75, Latvia 74, Estonia 84, and so on)

Wait, so he was a pure WHG and not like the Baltic Narva HGs(with ANE)? Where in Poland was he located? Also, did that paper have pigmentation SNP calls?

Where in Poland was he located?

Here is the link to the study: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-018-33067-w

From North-Central Poland (Kuyavia region): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kuyavia

Also, did that paper have pigmentation SNP calls?

Apparently blue eyes but darkish skin like Cheddar Man, typical WHG pigmentation:

rs1426654(G;G) ---> G is darker skin, modern Northern Europeans have A;A here
rs16891982(C;C) ---> C allele is darker skin, also 7x more likely to have black hair

Geneticists observed a high degree of continuity of population in Kujawy / Cuyavia from Mesolithic times:

http://naukawpolsce.pap.pl/aktualnosci/news%2C77226%2Cskany-3d-czaszek-i-zbior-starozytnego-dna-trafia-na-informacyjna-platforme-e

Google translate:

"A huge genetic base will allow us to compare populations from the last millennium with populations from before our era.

There are already first conclusions from the research of the team from the Biobank Laboratory and the Chair of Anthropology. The researchers suppose that in the case of the population living in Cuyavia there was a surprisingly strong genetic continuity, dating back to the time of the first farmers from 7.5 thousand years ago.

"It seems that we are dealing with an interesting genetic continuation of the population living in Cuyavia/Kujawy from the early Middle Ages to the nineteenth century." Actually these populations with their roots probably reach the Neolithic and even Mesolithic times" - suggests the scientist."

Do we know how he looked like? Any skull remains?
