My DNA results are in, and wanted to share them with the community :p:p , my parents are both moroccan ( Father is from the northern part of the country and mother from the south )

My grandfather was from Skoura near Ouarzazate!! But they are Jews so it's different genetics different phenotypes.

Oh shit !! She's is from Skoura too :eek::eek:, but even genetics for non jews varies a lot (My uncle has blue eyes and pale skin, my mother has the typical NA look go figure ... )

We might be distant cousins haha. Just kidding. Jews vary a lot too. My Skoura side (paternal grandfather) look levantine while my maternal grandmother side just look fully Western European. The genetics of both Moroccan Jews and Muslims vary a lot depending on the region.

We might be distant cousins haha. Just kidding. Jews vary a lot too. My Skoura side (paternal grandfather) look levantine while my maternal grandmother side just look fully Western European. The genetics of both Moroccan Jews and Muslims vary a lot depending on the region.

Haha, could be, her parents grew up with jews there and she was living then in a jewish neighborhood in Casablanca :)

Nah, in this case it is. Nassbean must be from a different region, hence less black. You said you are half Southern Moroccan, that's where the high SSA may come from.

We have a DNA group results for NA people, GED calculators gives people very speculative results most of the time, it's only good for european origins :) , Myheritage too mix NA and ME admix., only FTDNA seems to be reliable for NA people at the moment
