Alpinization makes sense though certain Cromagnids display brachycephaly.
Mediterranean/CM/Alpine mix with a brachy skull makes Berid/Paleo-Sardinian type which she looks quite like.

Still, her occiput that can be seen on page 1 is prominent enough for her not to be brachy and her forehead area isn't broad. too. Seeing more photos in side view I think there's no alpinization. Looks Paleo Atlantid.

There is nothing CM or West Alpinid about her. She has flat face that is Turanid trait.

CM / West Alpinid should be light pigmented without Mongoloid traits.

Florina is more similar in pigmentation to Paleo Sardinian. i cant see the Turanid, neither other people did.
Carey is more of an alpinized Atlantid. Also she is on the very light spectrum of "Alpine", not very representative for Alpinids as a whole.

West Alpinid =/= simple Alpinid. Simple Alpinid is common in Central Europe West Alpinid is common in Western EUROPE.

Not that Turanid is very common in BG (it's still present though) but yes, I do agree with your point.
