I classify them as brave heroes. France and Great Britain declared war on Germany when Germany invaded Poland in 1939. A few weeks later the USSR invaded Poland from the west to occupy their secretly agreed upon section of Poland that they had negotiated with Hitler. Why didn’t the “noble” Allies (Britain and France) therefore declare war on the Soviets? Hmmmm, something’s kinda fishy about that.
In late 1944 when the Soviets got back into Poland , the Allies threw the Poles under the bus and agreed to let the USSR have Poland after the war. I thought that they entered the war to preserve Polish sovereignty? Why is this hardly ever brought up? I’m L1029, but I don’t have a speck of Polish autosomal DNA, but this is a major shame .
I apologize for hijacking your post.
BTW, they all look various degrees of Baltic and Alpine combinations.
