"Illyrian" is just a name given by Romans and Greeks for the ancient western balkans. Many relatively uncivilized tribes lived in that area. If they werent, we would know more about them.

Albanians claim descendance from Illyrians and that the Albanian and Illyrian languages are related.

Illyrians lived in todays Albania,Montenegro and parts of Serbia.

If Albanians are direct descendants of Illyrians in genes and language is still not clear

Some Illyrian blood is probably in the people of todays Albania

Why not, same goes for many other western Balkanites. Imo highest peek would be probably in Northern Albania/Kosovo/Montenegro/BiH.
