These are the results for my step brother. I'm curious if they are meant to be approximations for recent ancestry within the last 500 years or so, since we only know he has German, Irish, and English ancestry. The Scandinavian and Asian component is incredibly pronounced for something we have no knowledge of.

It must be more ancient. I get 100% Euro on this one. I dont think I've sen anyone get 100% Euro on it though

I'm curious what reference population they use for Tatars, if they are Crimean, Volga, etc.

I've seen most in the 95-99% non European range at least. With southern Euros it seems you'll be in the 10-25% Asiatic range. There are still even exceptions to that.
