I intend to travel to Europe in the future and I am a bit insecure about my height. Where would I be considered average?

Statistically you're probably exactly average for most of Europe. No need to worry.

I’m not trolling, the point is that I’ve seen many state that below 180-185 is considered short for men. Also, height is supposedly increasing with each generation, so the averages I’ve found online might not be representative of young people.
I’ve seen some comments that say that people in their teens are always above the national average.

No way man, you are probably just above average in most countries, and average in others. Why worry anyways? Walk with confidence.

Secular height increase in developed (inc all European) countries has virtually stopped. You can look at data like the NCD-RisC data which utilises a robust statistical model here (http://ncdrisc.org/height-mean-ranking.html). Common cross-sectional studies also support this.

Even in a country like Netherlands you would be within -1 SD below average. Only in Northern Netherlands and Dinaric Alps would you be relatively "shorter".

Still I dont see the point? What are you insecure about? Do you think you might get laughed at on street because of your height? We are Europeans not animals to laugh at people, even if you were Austin Powers midget guy noone will honestly give a fuck.

they probably will not allow you to travel with all the passengers on the trains and they'll put you in the trunk, they will not let you in the bars, and the girls will laugh at you, they'll think you ran away from a circus

Depends which countries you’re going. In tall countries like Netherlands you’re under the average, but you’ll be fine in most countries in Europe

I obviously know that the most educated people on earth will not act that way. It’s a subconscious thing, I consider myself kind of socially awkward and always try to fit in. Short people have always had different treatment I suppose, for example my personal preference on women is that they shouldn’t be extremely shorter than me.

You are not average but above average in the majority of nations around the world. There's only a few nations that have an average male height of 180 cm or above.

You are below average in some European countries, like Netherlands, Denmark or Germany.
I'm 1,72m, so I'm a midget in all European countries, except in Portugal, but I don't worry about that.

No. 180-185cm is a midget for European standards. 190cm is shortish. 195cm-200cm is average, but may be considered tall in a good day.

Quite short in Germanic countries and in Balkans (except Albania), quite tall in Portugal, Albania, Romania and some parts of Italy more or less at the average size in most other places.

Average size of a young adult by country:

For women:

So you are about the same height of the average European man.

You have normal height and question of someone height is pretty irellevant here, unless you look like Shaquel O'neal or a midget, noone will even care.
