I wouldn't have guessed you as SW European though. You look visibly "northern-shifted" as in if you told me your name was something Anglo I would probably believe you. I guess your mix makes things tricky to classify with confidence. Greeks usually have "softer" features if that makes sense. It's hard to put into words. But you're on the cusp enough to pass, you just don't "look Greek".

I think of Greeks as a spectrum of phenotypes,on the one side of it you have extreme phenos like Kasidiaris and on the other extreme Nordids.
Going by my gut&intuition ,I'd put both to the very low 5digits If not 4(like in the case of "northafricanid" ones) ,the majority of millions being mixes (Alpinemeds,Dinaromeds,DinaroAlpines) and some other millions being different forms of dolichocephals(gracile,atlantids,atlantomeds,ponti ds) , hundred thousands of "depigmented whole or in some aspects" dinarics,CM types/alpines/pontids" ,hundreds of thousands of "purer"dinarids+alpines ,dozens of thousands of "purer" armenoids.
.
In this case "atlantish" belongs to hundreds of thousands so to me being surprised by anything applies only to the very extreme of the spectrum.But anyways..

Well no I told him he could pass, but he's just not the most 'common' type that exists. He knows that and so do you. The Greek national team has uncommon types at both end of the spectrum as well. There is no problem.

Some observations here:
1) Mitroglou is a gypsy.
2) Leonardo Koutris doesn't look atypical. The opposite in fact. He got his looks from his father, who's an islander I think.
3) Kolovos seems extremely weird and atypical.

Less atypical for Spain Than expected,More than Half passes,and not even as atypical but typical.Almoat none of them look very extra-European(Like Jason Mantzoukas).Phenos like Kolovos I look in several Romanians,Although in general they were tend to be more Lighter and less "extreme".The only exepcion es Mitroglou it look exotic.
